I shot the rest of the fairy dancers on film, so there will be a wait to see how they turned out. I kept locating the fairies until I got to a local council sponsored club house, which was plastered in graffiti fairies. But by this time I was being followed by a Melville city council security car for about 5mins (no joke). Probably thought I was the graffiti artist. Anyway, I managed to convince him I was just photographing the fairies, and he left, at which point I made my way to the river.

This was a pretty neat spot, maybe I’ll get a tripod and come here for a sunrise/sunset.

I followed the path around and past the Raffles hotel, and under the Canning bridge.

Was surprised to see each beam had roman numerals carved into them. This is another great spot I’d like to come back to, maybe with a model for some portraits.

The shells were pretty too.

Theres no shortage of cyclists around here on a Saturday morning. At least they shout BIKE at the top of their lungs when going around corners. What should I have shouted…

With that, it was getting a little hot, so I stopped off at a cafe for some breakfast and coffee, then headed home.

I will be uploading the fairies at a later stage when the film has been processed. Because I don’t know exactly how they will turn out, I might even decide to revisit the fairies for a second take. Either way, they will be posted soon under the projects section.

I hope everyones been having a chilled out and enjoyable weekend.

Just some news on the photos, I dropped off some film at the lab yesterday, so there will be some new photos soon. Pretty excited, and im hoping they turn out well.
In the meantime, I’ve put a roll of 24exp  kodak gold (cheap stuff yes i know) and whacked the 35mm Voigtlander onto my M3 just to see how colour turns out!

I took this setup into Fremantle markets, and shot of a dozen just at the fruit stall

Anyway, new photos soon!

It’s been a while in the making, but its finally ready! I hope to use this website as a portfolio of my own photography, and also as a platform for other photography enthusiasts.
